Steven’s Hope is an Edmonton-based charitable organization dedicated to improving education for children in Mozambique. Working with Rotary clubs and local partners, the organization raises funds to build safe and properly equipped schools. Its projects provide children with classrooms, desks, washrooms, libraries, and community spaces, replacing outdoor learning areas and unsafe structures.
Steven’s Hope also supports ongoing school maintenance, educational supplies, and teacher training whenever possible. By hiring local workers and purchasing construction materials locally, its projects also contribute to the surrounding communities. The organization has helped build three schools, giving thousands of children better access to education and an opportunity to create a brighter future.
